Plot

Led by seasoned Indian fighters Will Parcher and John Clay, the rescue party includes a naive teenager, Billy Wesson, who yearns to prove his manhood, and an ex-slave, Cammie, seeking freedom and a new life.

As they venture deeper into the desolate frontier, the party encounters eerie signs of the family's fate. They discover abandoned cabins, scattered belongings, and unsettling rumors of strange creatures lurking beneath the earth.

Unbeknownst to the rescue party, the missing family has fallen prey to a terrifying predator—a subterranean race of grotesque, bloodthirsty creatures known as the Burrowers. These creatures emerge from the ground, their sharp claws and teeth tearing through flesh with deadly precision.

As the rescue party faces the horrifying truth, they must not only fight for survival but also confront the darkness that has invaded the untamed West.
